A local accountancy firm, that offers cloud-based accountancy services to contractors and freelancers, approached me to help with their rebrand.
They were looking to hire an experienced consultant to facilitate with the launch of their new brand and the on-going management of their marketing.
What I did
I worked on various projects, but I prioritised, puttin together a rolling month-on-month content calendar. This included a weekly blog article and details on how these would be promoted across the company’s social media networks, including details on best times to post and relevant #’s.
Managing the company’s website and social media presence – connecting with clients, candidates and media outlets, was also a high priority.
In addition, I set up their client sales funnel.
We gained alot of value working with Emma. She spent the time to understand what we wanted to achieve, giving feedback on what we should prioritise as a practice. She created a comprehensive marketing strategy and plan, covering social media, email marketing, PR and blogging. We’d love to work with Emma in the future.
I increased sign-ups to their monthly newsletter by an average of 10% month-on-month. I secured a spot on a Sunday Times feature, covering tax advice for the self-employed. I built close relationships with journalists / editors of national magazines.
In additon to this, I increased their organic search results for specific keywords. I created a tone of voice guidelines to streamline their marketing messages. And, I initiated a blog outreach programme, with article contributions from suppliers and associated firms.
